Marketing and Sales MUST work together. It’s marketing’s job to find potential leads, connect with them and drive them into the sales funnel.
It’s the sales team job to turn leads into paying customers.
But what happens when the sales funnel is clogged with unqualified leads and people who will NEVER buy from you? Or, worse yet, what happens when it is the right lead but they aren’t ready to buy? Who’s job is it to nurture those leads so they WILL buy?
This is why alignment between Marketing and Sales is not only nice to have but crucial for growth and success.
